Job Description:


Our client is looking for a manufacturing engineer having responsibility for Maintain quality & process documentation - Control plans, PFEMAS, Picture Process Sheets, Tooling Sheets, etc.




·         Evaluate and estimate cost requests and Troubleshoot daily production problems through root cause analysis techniques as they occur.

·         Maintain quality & process documentation - Control plans, PFEMAS, Picture Process Sheets, Tooling Sheets, etc.

·         Investigate and implement cost reduction efforts through the suggestion & productivity improvement programs.

·         Understand & perform tolerance stackups including understanding of GD&T along with datum dimensioning of components.

·         Responsible for process engineering activities associated with assigned manufacturing area(s).

·         Manage engineering changes as they occur and Specify, quote, purchase and run-off capital equipment, tooling, and gages as required.

·         CNC - Fanuc       a. Understand & use parameters.       b. Understand & use G &M codes.       c. Understand & use macro programs & variables.

·         Develop and maintain program-tracking documentation and also Work with Adv. Mfg. Eng. on new processes.

·         Adhere to Corporate policies and procedures and also Implements safety and good housekeeping standards.




·         Minimum 1 year work experience in high volume manufacturing environment

·         General understanding of manufacturing processes and General knowledge of tooling/programming.

·         High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and must be willing and able to work flexible hours on any shift, weekends, and overtime as needed.

·         Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering required or equivalent training

·         Working knowledge of computers with emphasis in Microsoft Office suite.
