Job Description:


Our client is looking for a Supplier Quality and Development Manager having responsibility to Audits and aids in the facilitation of supplier quality development activity as required.



·         Participates in the design and implementation of TS 16949 compliant quality systems.

·         Lead role in all quality system audits and Function as an Internal Auditor (must meet customer specific training requirements).

·         Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of program launch activity including pre-production containment activity and Provides quality engineering support for production teams and the engineering staff.

·         Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for manufacturing processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.

·         Integrated in the various operations of the facility to ensure that our Quality Systems and Processes are followed.

·         Prepares P.P.A.P. submissions to customers and also be point of contact for any customer complaints or concerns.

·         Responsible for all required follow-up documentation to customers.

·         Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.




·         7+ years of advanced quality planning experience.

·         7+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.

·         Good planning and organizational abilities.

·         Strong PC skills including Windows, MS Word and Excel. Access and PowerPoint preferred. 

·         Analytical ability where problems are somewhat complex.

·         Knowledge of machinery, tooling, gauging and manufacturing processes.

·         4-year Engineering degree or business related degree required.

·         Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
